Wasssssupp!!!!

Just a few days back i was watching WWE on TV. In that a 3rd generation wrestler names R Truth.... ( these guys have weird name i tell u.) so this wrestler was making his entry and we all know that these guys like to make a grand entrance. So there was this music playing in the background which was supposedly a song.... but what i interpreted was that this guy was just merely shouting "WASSUP"...... SO this is what inspired me to write this post

Whats up?? or (to make it look more funky)... Wassup??.... is a common form of greeting amongst the gen next (even i am a part of it).

Now what does it exactly mean?? Whats up?? ...Well the most logically correct answer to this question would be sky, fan , Ceiling etc....

Jokes apart... this phrase actually means "whats up with u?" ... or in simple hindi "kya haal hai?"
now 99% people reply to this question with the same answer.... which is "nothing much" or "nm" or "nuin much".... all of which mean the same.

These days this "whats up?" has taken many different forms like
1) Wassup (which i mentioned above)
2) ssup / sup (which can be easily interpreted as "state ur purpose" :P )
3)wazzzaaaaa ( this is just dumb... seriously)
4) wazzzzaaaap....

and many more combinations like these which can be easily formed by straining your throat and making it sound more and more rash..... or simply by increasing the number of "s" or "z".

Now i really think that the whole point of "wassup" has lost its meaning... i mean people say it just the way we say "hello" when we answer the phone... Its more mechanical...

Some wannabies do say it in a polished  or a rowdy way just to get attention.. :P

It doesnt bother me but its something i think we all must have noticed and might even have given it a thought.......

I just bothered putting it on my blog....

cheers!!!!!

haha....

Well i have started avoiding this stupid cliche...

I now stun people by saying "Kay Varti aahe?"

or "Kya upar hai?"...they are first of all stumped...
then i clarify and then they laugh...

It's a hit with the girls especially :P
