GIVE ME SOME SUNSHINE, GIVE ME SOME RAIN, GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE I WANT TO GROW UP ONCE AGAIN!!!

Swanand Kirkire couldn’t have come up with anything better than these lyrics for the movie 3 IDIOTS.

They just make so much sense if you ponder over them for 2 minutes. Imagine if you got a chance to “grow up” once again.

How different things would have been! We always sit and wonder, “had I taken that decision my life would have been different,” or “I should have told that girl that I like her…. damn I made a mistake” or even something like, “why am I doing what I am doing right now!!”

There are so many things that have happened in your past which have made you what you are today.

Let’s start with the school life. There can be some school election that you won or lost and now if you get a chance you would want to get back there and set it right. There could have been many juniors in your school who used to respect you a lot and had a very nice opinion about you, but they never told you as you were always a “senior”. They might have told you that now after 5 years but now it doesn’t really make that much of a difference. Had those things happened in school how different your life would have been? The same thing goes with whatever you felt about your seniors… the girl you always had a crush on….. a failed relationship…. A competition in which you choked at the last minute resulting in your team’s loss…. A exam you screwed up because you were too casual about it… and so many other things. If you get a chance you will definitely want to relive it again and correct a few things.

Same goes for your school life. The people whom you love, your best friends, people whom you hate, people whom you want to beat up, people who were meddlesome and caused you a lot of trouble. Had you known this beforehand or had you had a chance to relive it again you could correct so many things.

All these are the negative points that I have been discussing about. There are so many positives too.

The tomboyish girl (from the school that you hate the most) you saw at some entrance exam who looked so snobbish that you detested her and would have never imagined that she would one day become your best friend, the guy whom you just casually met while playing football ends up becoming your “bro”, some lass whom you never even looked at when you were in your junior college turn out to be the person who understands you so very well and becomes your bestest friend… there are numerous such examples.

All these things constitute what we call “destiny”. And the thing about destiny is that it’s fair!! It gives you positives and it gives you negatives. If at all we do get a chance to grow up once again we might do these things right but then there would be something else we would have in store courtesy destiny.

People always say that we would like to see the future but I think this way would be much better. You experience future first hand and the go back and change a few things.

But is it really necessary to change those things?

So many people say that I regret doing this, I regret doing that, blah blah blah. BULLCRAP I say.

We never regret anything; rather we should not because “NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. SO LIVE IT UP.. DRINK IT DOWN… LAUGH IT OFF..… TAKE YOUR CHANCES AND NEVER REGRET THEM… BECAUSE AT ONE POINT ….. EVERYTHING YOU DID WAS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED!!!!”

YOU!!!

whenever we get into a new crowd, we are always excited about it.. new people(better people at times), new environment, new things to do.... all this is exciting at the start... but as years go by even you have to change

you have to be the new you.... and this new you has to be better than the previous you otherwise what happens is that the people around you transform into a better versions of themselves where as you just deteriorate.. and this metamorphosis is not visible at the start... when another phase comes wherein you have to embrace another new crowd you realise that you need to to be better than what you are right now.

but instead of being better than what you are , you are not even close to the yesteryear's "you"..... its like "dhobi ka kutta, na ghar ka na ghat ka"

in the end its all about YOU..... and YOU alone....

I am sure YOU must not have understood anything about this blogpost but nonetheless i had to write this.. :D

cheers!!!

UNSUNG HEROES

This is blogpost of mine is dedicated to the UNSUNG HEROES!!!

Unsung heroes are probably the most important characters in any film, book, match or anything… even our life.

In football , the goal scorer or the midfielder who creates the goals is always glorified. Well that is obvious as wayne rooney and ryan giggs deserve that kind of appreciation, but even the less known but equally important player like john oshea deserves the applause. I am not saying that the team mates don’t appreciate his effort, but come on he doesn’t get that limelight as the “stars” get. How many people do you know want to get hold of a oshea no.22 jersey??? Very few I would say.

Well this is just one example.

This happens in the books and movies too.

It is always Frodo Baggins who is the real hero whereas we know he is just more that mediocre. Nobody will look at Samwise , or Pippin. Well Gandalf and Aragon do appreciate all of them but the hero is always Frodo. All others are supporting heroes. Sidekicks.

Even in Harry Potter books (it’s obvious as they are pale copy of Lord of the Rings). It’s always “Harry Potter and blah blah blah”. That useless kid gets away with everything, all the glory and the limelight, whereas he is not even 1% as great as Dumbledore or even Voldemort. Lord Voldemort. Even Fred, George, Lupin, Tonks, Ron, Hermione and even Ginny are better than him. But this green eyed boy gets all the “awwwwwwww”.

Severus Snape!!! That man is god!! I mean everyone who has read the books knows. And we do appreciate him. I am not saying no to that but at the end of the day it’s always Harry Potter!

I recently saw the much hyped New Moon of the Twilight Saga. That is what actually prompted this blogpost. Even in this movie it is that stupid, stupid Edward Cullen who gets away with everything. Jacob Black doesn’t get anything. Even though the main hero talks in an undertone and as if he is constipated it is always he who gets the girl and the limelight. Poor old Jacob Black just doesn’t get anything in the end. And all this when is much better than the stupid hero who is dumb enough to leave the girl for an even dumber reason. (I really didn’t get why he left that heroine … didn’t really care.)

And the girl in this book/movie is a dim-witted female. I mean that Jacob Black made her an awesome bike out of scrap and was always there for her, but the minute she saw a flashy car…… gayi bhaage ke…

Your heart really goes out to such unsung heroes who don’t get the limelight/appreciation which they deserve or to put it in a better way…. People who are dumber than them get more admiration than them.

So this is your moment of glory… all you John O sheas, Rons , SamWises, Snapes and Jacob Blacks in real life… You are the Real Heroes and you are truly AWESOME!!!!!

God Proposes, Man Disposes.

It was the day when Sachin Tendulkar played his best innings against Australia when India was chasing 352. Sachin played a fantabulous knock of 175 but still India lost that match by just 3 runs. Every Indian was very upset that day and we all felt more bad for sachin than for India.

It was truly a day when GOD proposed but MEN disposed.

What happens the next day is actually funny.

People put all sorts of updates on facebook, twitter etc. but there is no formal discussion because it is like coming out of a bad break up. The more you discuss about it the more it hurts.

I went to my gym the next day and met all my friends there. Everyone was quietly working out. I decided it was best not to talk about the match as guys with big muscles are “presumed” to be bad with emotions. (infact all the guys… muscle or not… they are like mascara…. Start running at the sight of emotions)

After some time the guy on the radio said something about the match and then everyone just vented out their emotions.

One guy said, “ it was all fixed man. Otherwise who gets out when there are just 17 runs to win!! Sab satta hai !! “ ( he would probably take a break up pretty badly.)

Other guy cursed ravindra jadeja and the tailenders saying that they couldn’t even get 17 runs.

I pointed out that the top order got out in single figures. This turned the direction of the entire discussion on to Dhoni and Yuvraj.

Someone said Dhoni is useless and is more interested in commercials while our gym instructor made remarks about Yuvraj’s love life.

A ganguly fan who was still nostalgic about the time Dada lead the team said that Dada should be recalled to the team and made the captain.

It was so funny to see so many comment come up. It always happens. Whenever India loses a match every single Indian has a suggestion as to what should have been done.

This love hate relationship will always continue till the time cricket remains a religion in India.

Not to mention our workout for that day was neglected and our gym instructor had to interfere in our discussion to stop it.

But seriously, Wadda innings!!!

A Local Story…

I generally travel by first class from thane to matunga while coming to college. But my quarterly pass had expired and I had to come to college for hardly 10 days in that month. So I decided to take a second class pass for that month.

When you travel in Mumbai, you are frequently known by the train you travel. So even if you don’t know the name of the person, you always address him as, “ arey woh !! 8.19 wala !!” (8.19 being the Thane-CST train which departs thane station at 8.19 am). So like that I am a 8.09 guy.

That day I went early to catch the train as soon as it entered the station. If you don’t want to stand and travel , this is what you have to do. The first class compartment generally gets filled up in 50 seconds of the train coming to a halt. I thought the second class would get filled up even faster. ( There is a general notion that Second class is more crowded; Its completely untrue… I was about to find that out.)

So I jumped in the train and to my surprise I found that I easily got the highly venerated window seat. (the one in the right direction , not the opposite). There was no middle aged gujju man from mulund who had occupied it. ( If there is anyone Thane people hate the most then it’s the people who occupy the window seat by boarding at mulund)

I somehow started liking this compartment inspite of the fact that there were no cushion seats. They don’t really matter, you know.

Then suddenly a group of 8-9 middle aged men banged into the compartment. They were normal working middle class men; mostly maharashtrians. They occupied seats next to me and reserved a few seats for their other friends. Then somebody from the other side of the compartment shouted out, “ JAI MNS!!!” to a guy sitting next to me. He smiled and said, “ JAI CONGRESS!!”. The election results were out the day before and Congress and MNS had badly beaten Shiv Sena and BJP. So this was going to be the hot topic to discuss and I could sense that.

All of them were supporting different parties and they had their reasons. The congress supporters said that they opted for stability, where as the MNS supporters claimed that the change was about to come. The shiv sena supporters were upset for more than one reason. But they were not the only ones who were upset. Even the congress supporters weren’t very happy about the results.

Somewhere deep down inside each one of them knew that things were not going to be different and they were more upset because they are the worst affected by all this. They do their bit by exercising their right to vote yet there is no drastic change in their situation. They still have to travel day in and day out in the overcrowded compartments, they have to work their ass off in their offices so that they will get a good pension that will help them lead a peaceful retired life, they have to educate their children and hope that they don’t face the same lifestyle as they do. Some of them might have had a fight with their wife or neighbour , kids not listening, boss is nagging, had fight with a guy on the way to station, and so many countless other things are there which can multiply the irritation and frustration they have.

Yet there is not a hint of frustration on their face.

It is like the look forward to meeting their friends in the train every morning. That is probably the most amazing time they have in the entire day. And they camaraderie they share is something equivalent to that shared by aamir, saif and akshaye in Dil Chahata Hai. Trust me. It is a treat to watch. They will poke fun at each other, crack jokes, plan outings and do so many things in those 40-50 mins they share together. It is this local train that brings them together and keeps them together.

The bomb-blasts taking place in train do not instill fear in them. They are not afraid of that. They government is impotent; it doesn’t affect them. 31 crores are being spent on a terrorist to keep him alive ; they are not bothered.

And why should they be bothered. They do everything they can do. But after one point you just get saturated by doing the right thing again and again. They won’t stop doing the right thing. But now it really doesn’t matter to them. They have all become indifferent and immune to everything. That is what Mumbai does to you. There is no time for emotions. It is a ruthless city. These people have a very strict schedule to follow and so they derive fun and laughter from anything and everything. Anything bad happens they just cover up the wounds and move on. They have got in the habit of getting used to everything. And its not just them. All of us to a certain extent can relate to this emotion.

Enough is enough and all that big talk is okay. But at the end of the day each one of us has some job to do and so all those things take a back seat.

And even though its saddening to see such indifference, we really cant blame ourselves. All we can hope that things will improve and a certain section of people will do what they are supposed to..

THIS ONE'S FOR MY AWESOME COLLEGE FRIENDS!!!

Okay.... So i am not known for writing fancy blogposts.. This one is another one of those "straight from the heart" posts...

Now here is a bit of background for all those who are not from my college.

I have been blessed by the most awesomest group of people around me in VJTI. ( I know everyone feels that they have the best set of friends... but so be it)

So today while studying a thought crossed my mind...( thoughts always cross ur mind when they are not supposed to be crossing.... anyways...) ... yes... i thought about all those people in my group around me and was thinking about their best qualities and i came up with an " IDEAL " person.

So here goes my definition of an " IDEAL " person

I am not being sexist but for our convinience lets assume that the person is a "He".

So here we go

1) He should have the physique of Aditya Nadkarni...( This guy's a total hunk.... everyone will agree)

2) He should have the looks, style and sophistication of Ameya Vaidya.... ( He is an Aristocrat!!!)

3) He should have the innocence and cuteness of Prasad Vaidya, Chirag and Aditya Nadkarni.. ( The "Balmohan" effect i guess!!)

4) He should have the brains of Ameya Joshi ( There is something in the name ameya joshi which makes them highly intelligent i guess.... i have 2 friends who are super scholars!!!)

5) He should have the sincerity of Siddhi and Sneha... ( both of them are super sincere!!)

6) He should have the knowledge of HARDIK KOTHARE!!! ( This guys knows anything and everything... Find a 20yr old who knows more than him and i will do anything that u say!!!! open challenge!!!! )

7) He should have the Practical nature and the ability to "get the job done" of Priya!!! ( She is one smart chick!!)

8) He should have the street smartness and agility of Prathamesh!!!! ( This guy has awesome practical knowledge and he is lightning quick.....)

9) He should have the common sense of Swami!!! ( How much ever we curse this guy.... this is one thing in him that we all appreciate...)

10) He should have the daredevilry of Siddhesh and Prathamesh!!!

11) He should have the curiousity of Pranav Mahadik!!! ( wayyy tooo curious guy :P )

12) He should have the appetite of Kaushal and Vipul.... ( its insatiable)

13) He should have the "art to perfects things" like Prathamesh, Aditya, Siddhi and Priya

14) He should have the emotional quotient of Prasad Vaidya!!! ( I mean it!!!! P rocks !! )

15) He should have the "Bing"ness of Mihir!!!!!

I think thats all i can think of rite now..... Seriously i have been blessed with the awesomest people!!!!

u combine all the qualities together and then what u will get is an IDEAL person :P

Screw the ideal person part.... basically i just wanted to write this post for all my college friends...

and oh yaa on top of it all, all of them have one quality common... ALL OF THEM ARE DOWN TO EARTH AND GENUINE INDIVIDUAL!!!!! ( So girls if u come across any of them.... give them ur number :P :P ) !!!

Cheers to VJTI!!!!

Super Sunday..... Still in the HANGOVER of the WIMBLEDON FINAL!!!!

Sunday 5th of july........ i was eagerly looking forward to the wimbledon final and some free time spent with my close friends. Schedule wise i had a class in the morning with some dumb test taking place. Afterwards it was free time for me.

But nothing took place as it was scheduled.

I caught up with an old school friend on saturday and we decided that we'll watch the movie " The Hangover" on sunday morning. The decision was as spontaneous as the movie is. So we went to PVR to watch THE HANGOVER... Till that point i knew that its a comedy movie.. After reaching there i read it poster. It said " from the makers of ROAD TRIP" .. I was like "woaaahhhhh!!!" I knew what to expect from that movie.. It was going to be awesome. Road Trip/ Euro Trip all these movies are seriously gr8 movies to watch.. ( with frnds... and they are more fun if its all Guys!!!)
So even Hangover was similar... A total Guy movie with its "A" rating justified.
Now the crowd that had come there was also something worth paying attention.
Amongst the crowd was a 20 yr old girl who had come with her mother!!!!! That was something totally unexpected.... u dont watch such movies with ur mother...( maybe its fine coz she was a girl... but guys ... no chance)
Then there were two 60+ guys who had come to see the film... I bet they must have had some wild time in their youth and may be they thought they would relive some.... ( truly a touching moment)

Well the movie is AWESOME!!! It has everything u expect from movies like this.... Its total fun and a rollercoaster ride of 1 and a half hour..

It teaches u a few things too
1) No matter what happens.... always have a bachelor's party
2) Never let ur GF rule over your own HEAD
3) Atleast Once in ur life have a wild time which you will always remember for the rest of ur life
( For this u may not necessarily drink and have drugs..... but do something wild.... btw they drink and get drugged in the movie)
4) Atleast once visit Las Vegas and Gamble
5) Girls/ Gfs / Wives are all really essential and nice.... but its ur BROS who stick to u when in need :P
6) REACH YOUR WEDDING LATE!!!! OR ATLEAST JUST IN TIME
7) You should atleast once in your life pee in the swimming pool... :P :P
8) Get a bartender's liscense....... ( just in case) :P
9) Spend one wild night such that u dont remember anything the next morning!!!!!!
10) Once in Ur life....... Fuck up sumthing big time !!!!!!

Many of these points u will understand only if u see the movie. So i suggest u go and see it ASAP!!!!!

Now after the movie i came home and did the normal timepass... BTW I BUNKED THE CLASS TO CATCH THE MOVIE... :P

Then in the evening there was The Epic Wimbledon Final!!!
The match started and it was a cliffhanger as we all know. Me and my dolphin buddies were texting every one minute. Free SMSes naa......
I was giving point by point updates to my frnd who had a power cut at her place..
I sent almost 127 msges in those 4 hours!!!
Fedrer won the match as we all know and he was back to his number on position!!!!
5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14........ A W E S O M E !!!!!!
That was a match i could never forget and i pity those who didnt see the match for some dumb reasons like "IIFA awards" or "I dont like sports"!!!!

All in all it was a Gr8 day which I enjoyed to the hilt!!!!

as i said " I am Still in the HANGOVER of the WIMBLEDON FINAL!!!! "

PS: Even India won the ODI series in WI !!!!

Sad Result, A long Bike Ride and turbulence!!!! A day of mixed emotions!!

Today was the birthday of my "mystery girl".......  it hardly makes a difference... but still.. somehow i thought today should be a bit special.

but as murphy has stated... if something has to go wrong. it will!!!

I got my results yesterday... and they were crappy... My friend had told my result so i went to college today to check them out again. Somehow u always want to see the result urself to believe it.

Therefore in the morning i went to college on my new bike!! That was the only nice part of the day.... lonnnnnnnnng bike ride...

I saw my result.. It read a shitty 6.2 only 0.2 greater than last sem. It was depressing and frankly speaking i felt very bad about it... more than wht i generally am...

Scoring low can become a habit i feel.. I mean it can happen due to bad luck... or u just lose confidence in ur abilities. No matter what u do.... u just dont score...  I always used to wonder why kids in my class are stuck on 60 odd % .. in school days haan... that time when i was scoring pretty decent marks it never struck my mind what they must be going through..

Probably now i realise what they must have felt. What they must have been going through....

Once u score less u become kind of an outcast... more than the people discriminating against u.... its U urself who discriminates... U dont feel proper to hang out with people who score marks much more than u...and u tend to find solace amongst people who score the same marks as u do .. people try to cheer u up.... they tell u set realistic targets and try to achieve them... even i had done such things in school... telling a 60% guy that set a target of 65 or 70%  and work towards it...

Thats bullshit u know..... coz it wont help....... it doesnt help... u end up scoring 60% only if u set ur sights on 70%........ if u believe in urselfgo for 90%... aim for the top..... i mean come on.... what the harm in doing so...... "if u aim for the stars..... u will reach the topmost peak"..... "U R the BEST UNLESS PROVEN OTHERWISE!!!"

most of the times it happens that u fall badly on the ground or are time and again proven that u are not the best...... but things happen and u have to move on

And if u have to move on u should move on with a positive intent...... JUST ASSUME THAT U R THE BEST!!!!

This is the most confusing post i have written and i dont know wht it looks like... its just that i am taking out the day's frustration out here.

The Day I Created History....

I know the title is highly funky and BIG!! but today was special ..

The day started with a boring EPS lecture. After the lecture we went to play cricket at the 5 Gardens. This is becoming more of a routine these days. We play almost thrice a week.
So we were playing a 6 over match and i went out to open our innings. We were batting first and so there wasnt any kind of pressure on my and Rahul, who was opening alongside me. We had a good steady start and our run rate was pretty healthy. We were scoring like 9-10 runs per over. In the third over, i committed a stupid mistake which resulted in Rahul running out. Afterwards Pranav joined me and we played the next two over pretty well. At the end of 5 overs our scorecard read 56 runs. It was a good score as it is.... But what followed next was something of miracle which everyone of us must have dreamed of.

In the last over i hit 6 sixes!!!!!!! Not only that ... We scored 40 runs in that over!!!!!!
(hey 6*6 is 36..... so how come 40???.... i will explain)

Ball one: It was a juicy half volley and i dispatched it over the mid-wicket boundry... First Six

Ball two: Similar ball..... this time it crossed the 5 gardens and went into a taxi...

Ball three: A low full toss.... blasted it!!!! \m/  18 runs from 3 deliveries..

Ball four: A DOT BALL!!!!! i swinged and missed....

then my friend bowled 3 wides!!!!! so now it was 21 runs from 4 balls..

Ball five: A full toss above waist height which was hit for a six !!!! 7 runs...

So it was 28 runs from 4 balls!!!!

Ball 5 (again): A short pitched delivery . I pulled that one like a tennis shot. Surprisingly even   that went for a six!!! ( 34 from 5 balls)

Ball 6:  A simple short ball which was again pulled for a six... ( 40 runs from 6 balls!!!!)

i agree that the bowler was bowling pretty lame deliveries but 40 runs from 6 balls was like truly AWESOME!!!!!

we posted a huge total of 96 from 6 over ( 16 rpo!!!!!)

It was indeed a memorable day for me...!!!!! I actually did something worth remembering!!!!!

Cheers!!!!

PS: If u think what happened of the match.... we did win it :P

Mysterious girl!!!

Okay.. now i got a few compliments on my blog posts which were.... well how do i put it...a bit romantic in nature... so i decided to write another one of those. And this one being a personal experience... So here goes.

Now this year during our sports fest we had college from all over mumbai and maharastra coming to participate. Now there was this certain girl from XYZ college whom i had taken a liking to. I first time saw her playing throw ball... Now all the guys watch throwball primarily for checking out girls... but in reality its a pretty nice game with a lot of complicated rules, which take a year or two to understand fully.
Now many people taunt me and make a joke out of the fact that i watch throwball matches and cheer my college/ department for the same..... well lets just day that those guys are Gay... There is no simpler explanation to that.

So getting back to Miss Beautiful... She was a very nice girl... Pretty face, fair , decently tall, silky soft brownish hair, cute face, light brown eyes, cute face, she even had little dark circles but even those looked great on her.... really awesome girl.

My friends who were the event heads could get me her name but didn't give me her number.. for the sake of secrecy lets call her the "mystery girl"... So my bad friends didn't give me her number... but i really didn't want that..
i was just happy to see her play....

So after the tournament got over for them , she went and that was the last of it.. I just hope to see her next year.... But it was not to be that way

Apparently a friend of mine from first year knew that girl pretty well. She told me that after a fortnight... Wat crap!!!! ... Idiot girl!!!! ... but none the less i was happy to know about my mystery girl.
So this girl happened to be from a big shot family.. Doesn't matter. Days passed like that only...

Now in march ... Almost 2 months later our neighbouring college had their sports fest.... Again the beacon of hope lit up for me.. So it was yesterday when i was playing football in my college, when my friend from first year told me that my mystery girl was there at the tournament and that their college had a match against our college.. ( she thought i was at home... so she msgd me just to tease me.. But i was there in the college...) So i ran after my football practice and instead of going home i decided to go to my neighbouring college.. i was damn hungry but i didn't eat anything. That time my focus was elsewhere. I went to our back gate as it was the shortest way... but it was closed.. (Damn it!!) There was no time and i didn't want to go all the way to the main gate and the circle the entire college.. So i just climbed our wall and jumped over it..... All this just to see my mystery girl....

Damn it.. That's so uncharacteristic of me... But i was doing this.. I went into that college and called up my best friend (he studies in that college).. He greeted me at the main gate and he perfectly knew why i was there... So he took me directly to the throwball court... And there she was!!!! It was such a relief to see her again... I felt nice and light.... our college team knew why i was there and the captain and a few senior players taunted me too.. But i wasn't really listening...

She still looked the same... I mean your looks don't change in two months but still it happens many a times with us that our second look at the person doesn't create the same kind of magic as the first look does... Here the magic was still intact..

After that i went to eat something... Then the match took place and our college surprisingly lost the match.. That was saddening..

So now it was time to leave and i had asked my first year friend for an introduction with my mystery girl..
But yesterday i was in no mood for that.

The reason being every time you have a crush on someone because of their awesome looks and you try to get to know them... following cases occur
1) You talk to her and you discover that her voice is very weird... at times its too nasal or too weird which makes you go "eeeeeeeeee!!!!!!"
2) If you do get to know her better then she just becomes your good friend and then the crush vanishes and you feel that you are better off as friends.
3) Sometimes the girl like you as a brother.... ( your heart cries out Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!)
4) The girl is too girly and a sentimental, irrational fool which changes the nice impression you had about her...
* sound of glass shattering *
5) If you are really lucky enough then that crush can turn into a true love

In my case generally cases 2 and 3 take place.... 5th case never happen in my case

But this time i didn't want any of the above cases (except 5th) to take place.. i was just content in seeing that sweet girl expressing joy on winning.

On my way back home my first year Friend told me that my mystery girl was an year older to me(*again sound of glass shattering*) and again i felt, like i have felt on countless occasions, "Damn it!!! i should have been born an year earlier...

My friend asked me "now what???... you didn't even talk to her or wait for an intro... plus she is an year older to you..... now what? "
I didn't explain any of the above cases to her....

i just told her , " Its her ( my mystery girl's) bad luck :P " ( now that characteristic of me) ....

So i didn't find out more about my mystery girl and i let that thing end then and there... but i found out one reassuring thing about myself.... I am awesome!!!!

PS: the last line is inspired from how i met your mother... and i know that barney stinson wont have any objection to that... BTW my mystery girls looks a bit like robin.... :D

PPS: She is not older than me.... :P

Wasssssupp!!!!

Just a few days back i was watching WWE on TV. In that a 3rd generation wrestler names R Truth.... ( these guys have weird name i tell u.) so this wrestler was making his entry and we all know that these guys like to make a grand entrance. So there was this music playing in the background which was supposedly a song.... but what i interpreted was that this guy was just merely shouting "WASSUP"...... SO this is what inspired me to write this post

Whats up?? or (to make it look more funky)... Wassup??.... is a common form of greeting amongst the gen next (even i am a part of it).

Now what does it exactly mean?? Whats up?? ...Well the most logically correct answer to this question would be sky, fan , Ceiling etc....

Jokes apart... this phrase actually means "whats up with u?" ... or in simple hindi "kya haal hai?"
now 99% people reply to this question with the same answer.... which is "nothing much" or "nm" or "nuin much".... all of which mean the same.

These days this "whats up?" has taken many different forms like
1) Wassup (which i mentioned above)
2) ssup / sup (which can be easily interpreted as "state ur purpose" :P )
3)wazzzaaaaa ( this is just dumb... seriously)
4) wazzzzaaaap....

and many more combinations like these which can be easily formed by straining your throat and making it sound more and more rash..... or simply by increasing the number of "s" or "z".

Now i really think that the whole point of "wassup" has lost its meaning... i mean people say it just the way we say "hello" when we answer the phone... Its more mechanical...

Some wannabies do say it in a polished  or a rowdy way just to get attention.. :P

It doesnt bother me but its something i think we all must have noticed and might even have given it a thought.......

I just bothered putting it on my blog....

cheers!!!!!

regularly irregular.....

now i knew this would happen. the day i started blogging i knew that one time would come when i would not get time to update my blog in 2-3 weeks and then those 2-3 weeks would transform into 2-3 months.. It did happen so. this is my first post in the new year and so first of all i will wish everyone a very happy new year. ( I know its veryyy late )

Now for the past 2-3 months i was literally "working" in the college for our annual festivals. Everyone had a gala time and now life is back to normal with all of us sitting for lectures and supposedly all of us have started preparing for CAT. ( underline supposedly ). So i couldnt get time to write anything.

Now u mite ask....But then why all of a sudden this urge to write?... i will explain this..... that is what this post is about..

I logged into my account today and i saw that amongst the blogs that i follow, many of my inactive friends had become very active. Even if the reason for that being online internship.... the bottom line is  that they are active. So i also felt that i should post something... atleast some thing...... so i have come up with this crap....

now i hope that this worst ever post of mine gives me a kick and i get back to some serious blogging once again.....

cheers!!
